The LBI Carolina Top 100 exposure event was the place to be if you were a top athlete in the Carolinas. Here is a breakdown of what these 2025 guards can offer.

Iveonna Ward | Elizabethtown Middle | PG
Ward showed that not only can she be an effective ball handler and leader on offense, she has phenomenal defense. She has some good speed that she uses on both ends of the court, and this especially causes problems on defense because guards are unable to move past her even as she was competing against older competition.

Gabby White | Margaret B Pollard | G
White was very effective at pushing the ball up the court for her team. She’d create fast break opportunities whether she scored herself or made a nice pass to her teammate for the points. She hustles on defense as well and even made a nice block showing her ability to track the ball.

Danauje Brooks | Northwood Temples Academy | PG
Brooks was a dynamic point guard on Saturday showing that she can handle the ball well moving through her opponents’ defenses. She can also make some moves to create separation in order to show off her shot.

Sarah Larios | Asheville Christian Academy | G
Larios was smart with her moves knowing when to implement them and showing that she understood the importance of timing. She had a nice Euro move that she used to create her own score and did well with jumping in the defensive gaps to make contributions.

Ashanti Fox | O’Neal | G/F
Fox is a player that you could see playing any position with her ability to grab rebounds and put back those boards on offense. She jumped into passing lanes on defense showing her smart anticipation. On offense, she could handle the ball well moving quickly from one end to the other, and she had a nice shot from behind the arc that was on display.

Zhykera Brown | Legacy Early College | G
Brown has a lot of strength when she plays getting her way with essentially anything she wants to do whether she is grabbing a rebound, posting up underneath showing some versatility, or pushing the ball up the court. She can handle the ball well herself, and she is fully capable of shooting from all over the court.

Jasmine Nivar | Apex Friendship Middle | G
Nivar showed that she has a great IQ already because she always found herself in the perfect position to make a contribution for her team, or she would find her teammate that was ready for the pass from her. Speed is also one of her strengths blowing by her opponents.

Chi’nya Isaac | Hopkins Middle | SG
Isaac’s ability to create offensive possessions was on display when she turned defense into fast break opportunities on back to back possessions off of her own steals. She had the ability to drive inside against contact, and she used different moves to get by defenders including a nice spin move.

Emily King | Carmel Christian | SG/SF
King is a hustler who goes after every rebound. She created scoring opportunities for herself multiple times off of offensive rebounds. The way she can already position herself well to create these plays is certainly going to set her up for a bright future.

Addison Sirianni | Lakeshore Middle | G
Sirianna was another player who found herself contributing all over the court. She had multiple steals that turned into fast breaks, and she showed that she can drive inside or pull up for a jump shot. It seemed that every defensive possession she played she was deflecting the ball or grabbing the steal, and her ability to run the floor made her dangerous on both ends of the court.

Gabriel Locklear | Magnolia Middle | G
Locklear has an arsenal of moves that she showed with the ball in order for her to score. She drove down the middle for a jump shot. She had some nice fakes that allowed her to blow by her opponent, and she also used a nice crossover to show off her shot. She even hit a nice reverse layup and did some post moves to score. Without the ball, she was constantly making some nice cuts in the defensive gaps.

Alexis White | John Griffin Middle | G
White ran the floor exceptionally well dribbling from end to end on a solo fast break or being there for a lay up off a fast break pass from a teammate. This translated well to set offenses where you could see her flashing to the gaps of the defense, and this allowed her to show off her shot from behind the arc.

Ja’la Niblett | Martinsville Middle | PG
Niblett showed off her shot over the weekend. She was constantly moving on offense making cuts in and out of the paint always being ready for the ball. She also showed her ability to slide into the right positions on defense making sure she contributes on both ends of the court.

Breonna Roaf | Max Abbott | PG
Roaf was already showing that she is a floor general with her vocal leadership and her ability to push the ball up the court. She made some very smart plays throwing dimes to her teammates or driving inside when she made the opportunity for herself.

Delilah Soltys | Hillcrest Middle | PG
Another smart point guard was Soltys who handled the ball well and showed that she can use fakes effectively to create separation between her and her opponent. She also created fast break opportunities off of her steals. Her basketball IQ is well beyond her years.

Miyah Campbell | Southern Wake Academy | CG
Campbell was very effective by the basket showing off her jump shot after a quick turn around or making drives against tough contact. She even had an old fashioned three point play opportunity. Her movements were good, too, setting up some pick and roll plays on offense or jumping into passing lanes on defense to grab some steals.
