The LBI Carolina Top 100 exposure event was the place to be if you were a top athlete in the Carolinas. Here is a breakdown of what these 2025-2027 post players can offer.
Laylah Toscano | Ridge Road | F 2025
Toscano has a full arsenal of post moves that she showed off over the weekend. She could use a spin move, jab step, up and under, euro step, and probably any other move to be effective at scoring from anywhere on the court. She was strong with the ball and persistent when it came to grabbing rebounds, and her presence inside led to multiple blocks. She was consistently hustling down the court being one of the first ones back on defense.
Celena Grant | Paul Knox Middle | SF 2026
Grant showed that she can handle the ball well in addition to showing off her post moves. She fought through contact when posting up and scoring her points. She was a great rebounder for her team, too, finding many different ways to contribute.
Madison Drayton | Southwest Middle | F 2027
Drayton was all over the court pushing the ball on fast breaks making great passes or finishing the points herself. On defense, she had fantastic anticipation finding herself in the right position to stop a fast break from the opposing team or block a shot. She always knew where to go with the ball as soon as she grabbed a rebound.
Cam Davis | Piedmont Middle | F 2027
Davis was a force on defense. She was strong with her rebounds, and she stripped the ball from opponents. She also used her strength to stand her ground on the block making it hard for opponents to have their way going up against her.
Ja’Nyla Cunningham | Dutchman Creek Middle | C 2027
Another player who hustled up and down the court was Cunningham. She made her presence known inside with her post moves. She was strong when handling the ball protecting every possession on offense.
