Team Peak began competing in LBI events in Fort Mill over Labor Day weekend, and they certainly showed that they have some stars on the rise.

Kate Sears (2025) is a dynamic guard that controlled the ball for her team. She made some nice moves with the ball, and she knew where to move without the ball exposing gaps in the defense of her opponents. She did not shy away from driving into the lane against contact, and she did well creating separation for herself to make some jump shots from all over the court. On defense, she made steals and deflections making it hard for opponents to get their offenses going around her. This girl has a bright future ahead of her!

Brooke Scheffler (2023) was a player who was constantly moving all over the court finding ways to make contributions with her shot or make some good passes to her teammates. She had amazing cuts down the lane where she received the pass and was ready to shoot right away. She was not scared to drive against contact, and she did well converting points from the free throw line. She was aggressive inside grabbing rebounds and preventing the other team from making plays.

Abigail Jones (2024) was a tough post player inside grabbing rebounds and making her presence known. She has some great post moves, and her signature seemed to be a convincing up and under move that was always hard to defend. She did a great job jumping into passes for her team making sure to protect the possession, and she was smart about what she did next with the ball whether she looked for her teammates or she drove it inside herself.

Caroline Farthing (2023) was a great guard for Team Peak because she was constantly relocating to find the open areas to make a play. She had a great vision for the court knowing the best places to drive the ball or dish it to her teammates to get them involved. She knew how to create space between her and her defenders to set herself up for a jump shot and showed off her shot from behind the arc as well.

Marley Coffey (2023) is another guard who seemed to find herself wherever she was needed most on the court. She had great cuts to the open spots, and she was always ready to shoot whether she was grabbing a rebound herself or getting a pass from her teammates. When she went inside to grab rebounds, she showed some good strength and was aggressive grabbing them.
