Chicago, IL - Nike Nationals always brings out the biggest and brightest stars. Congratulations to Team Takeover 17u EYBL for winning the National Championship. While there was plenty of media covering the event and numerous players playing their butts off deserving some shine. LBI Carolina decided to highlight some of the prospects that have “NEXT”! 

Indya Nivar 2022 pg Carolina Flames 17u EYBL Morris
A super athletic guard that put it all together and stood out amongst the best. Showed she can score the rock from all 3 levels, does a good job rebounding her position and has a combination of speed and strength that allows her to guard 1-3.

Kennedy Fauntleroy 2022 pg BWSL 16u EYBL
Fauntleroy is the engine that makes the loaded BWSL squad go. A high IQ point guard that has ability to take over the game in multiple ways. On the defensive end she is a lock down defender that makes it difficult for opposing point guards to get into their offense. With the ball in her hand she is trouble going downhill, welcoming contact while finishing strong at the rim.

Mya McGraw 2021 post Central Florida Elite 16u EYBL
A traditional back to the basket post that has good hands and a soft touch in the paint. She did a great job keeping rebounds high and playing through the contact on both ends. McGraw understands how to use her body to her advantage. A very solid post prospect!

Joey Delancy 2022 g Miami Suns Team Larkins 16u EYBL
A big strong guard that causes match up problems on the offensive end. Really effective off the dribble, very physical and spends a lot of time at the free throw line. Athletic enough to defend the 1-4 in most situations. Should be fun to watch her development.

Shannon Wheeler 2021 wing Michigan Crossover 16u EYBL
Long versatile wing that can get it done on the perimeter and on the block. Showed that she can hit the 3 ball as well as being effective attacking off the dribble. Wheeler has a great wing span that allows her to be a problem as a help side defender and in the passing lanes. 

Jada Williams 2023 pg Missouri Phenom 16u EYBL
Cat quick guard with great court vision and a knack for putting passes in the right place. Held her own as a young prospect playing up. Showed she can get to the paint at will and usually make something good happen. She is at her best on the defensive end as a lock down defender.

Janiah Barker 2022 sf Essence Tip Hayes Purple 17u EYBL
High energy prospect that is very versatile in that she can have an impact offensively on the block or the perimeter and defensively she guards the perimeter as well as alters lots of shots in the paint. A tough kid that sacrifices her body and does all of the dirty work.
