Concord, NC – LBI Summer Tip Off kicked off Father’s Day weekend in Concord, NC. We had a chance to lay eyes on some of the top young talent in the area and we were not disappointed. The Carolina’s will continue to be a hotbed of talent for years to come.

I came away impressed with the talent in the 2024 class at Summer Tip Off. The class was simply loaded and featured some really talented prospects. Here is my 2024 starting 5 from LBI Summer Tip Off.

Blanca Thomas 2024 6’2 Post  Lady Attack 2024
Kid has a real chance to be a big time prospect, very mobile, athletic, runs the floor, rebounds both ends, does a good job keeping the ball high, soft touch in the lane and finishes with contact.

Sarah Strong 2024 5’11 G Strong Center 7th
Top 2024 kid that we have seen in the Carolina’s. Game has a lot of layers to it. No surprise that both parents were pros. She scores from all 3 levels but I am most impressed with her passing ability and her understanding of the game a such a young age.

Makayla Noble  2024 5’10 G LKN1
Very raw kid but the upside is tremendous! She shoots the 3 well, does a lot of the dirty work and simply gets after it. Showed she can guard the perimeter as well as the post and doesn’t shy away from contact.

Chloe Moss 2024 5’8 PF Lady Attack 2024
Just a work horse in the paint. Showed off some impressive footwork on the block, rebounds very well on both ends and plays very hard. Had a nice spin move on the baseline that caught everyone’s attention.

Danajue “Lil Bit” Brooks 2024 5’ PG Strong Center 7th
Electricity in a bottle! Had the biggest heart in the gym and once she got cooking she was hard to deal with.  Does a great job finishing at the rack even with bigger players there, she is a terror on the defensive end.
