Charlotte, NC: One of the best events year after year was amped up this year with the NCAA Live Period. Many of the top teams and programs from DC, MD, VA, SC, NC and GA converged in the Queen City to get evaluated by over 100 college coaches. Below is just a few of the many many players that had great weekends here at Carolina Jamfest.

LBI Carolina Jamfest

2023 Malaysia Fulwiley – (SC76ERS Black)
The most electrifying player in the gym. Everyone was waiting and watching to see what she would do next. As a point guard she is one of the best in the country and can get it done on both ends. She can shoot from anywhere on the court and is always looking to get her teammates involved. She plays with a sense of calmness and poise beyond her years.

2021 Saniya Rivers – (Carolina Flames EYBL)
One of the top players in the country had things cooking this weekend. She is now hitting the three with consistency and is silky smooth getting to the rack. She is a player that can truly dominate a game. Defensively she is a nightmare because of her quickness and length. She continually ripped point guards and guards, and is a triple double threat every time she steps on the court.

2021 Reigan Richardson – (Team United)
Every facet of her game has improved…from ball handling to the deep three and everywhere in between. She is a player that is going to give her all every minute/second on the court. She is a team first player and plays with passion and determination that has her ranked as one of the top 2021 players in North Carolina.

2020 Ajae Petty – (Power Move Black)
No one, especially with her size, ran the floor as hard as she did on every occasion. She is a shot blocking rim protector that is active on the boards and one of the best rebounders we saw. Offensively she puts in work around the basket and is tough to guard because of her combination of quickness and power. A player that is going to out work everyone.

2022 Ashlyn Watkins – (SC76ERS Black)
She had the crowd on their feet a couple times as everyone thought she was going to throw one down. A player that is confident and active all over the court. She is a shot blocker that consistently puts opponents on their heels and their shots in the stands. Her jump shot has improved but she does most of her damage in the lane. A player that gives her all and Plays with heart.

LBI Standouts

2020 Shelby Darden – (Team Loaded Winston)
At 6’4” she is tough on the inside and knows how to get around in the lane. She has nice form on her shots and continually gets to the free throw line. She runs the floor well and is a smart player.

2021 Mallorie Haines – (Team United)
The Davidson verbal commit had her shooting on full display this weekend. All she needs is just a little space and you can pretty much count it. Haines also has improved her rebounding, as she was active on both ends. She is a player that plays with a sense of pride and passion.

2022 Bridget Utberg – (Georgia Metros Gold)
A super quick point guard that can make difficult passes look easy and doesn’t turn the ball over much. She can attack or hit the three and if you leave her any space, will shot the rock. She is skilled and as tough as they come.

2021 Alyssa Andrews – (Team Takeover 16U EYBL)
A stat stuffing player that is long and athletic. She blocks shots, rebounds, assists, steals and can score outside or going to the basket where she finishes well and strong around the rim. A player with a purpose.

2020 Madison Harper – (Peak Performance Sosebee)
This lefty can hit the outside shot when needed but is at her best slashing and getting downhill. She always seems to find a way to the basket. Defensively quick and a good on ball defender. A player that just keeps on coming.

2020 D’Mya Tucker – (SC Future)
D’Mya continues to showcase her skills week after week. She is a long athletic defender that plays with a little nastiness. Offensively she has a much improved three point shot and of course uses her length well to get to the basket.

2020 Ja’el Miller – (CLT Flames)
A pure point guard that is a pass first player and loves to conduct traffic. She has great balance and a quick step back that is hard to defend. She can go with either hand and is always dribbling with her eyes up. If you leave her too much space she can knock down shots as needed. Defensively, sneaking quick and loves to get out in transition.

2022 Jessica Dowdy – (Georgia Sting)
This lefty was one of the top shooters of the weekend. A player that needs just a little space to get her shot off and is very consistent. Even her misses looked like they were going in. She plays with a lot of intensity and is smart on the court.

2021 Bianca Pendleton – (Team Takeover 16U EYBL)
A player with good size and that can do work in the paint. She has a nice touch on her shot and uses her body tremendously well to rebound. She has good footwork and plays with power.

2022 Imani Lester – (Carolina Flames EYBL)
For a big forward she can run the floor and has soft hands. She rebounds well and is a shot changer on defense. Offensively she can do work in the post or step out and hit the occasional three.

2021 Tanjaneeka Eichelberger (TJ) – (Carolina Flames Hodges)
A combo guard that is a really good shooter as well as a slasher. She rebounds very well for her size from the guard position and is a player that we look forward to seeing during the next live period.

2019 Niamoni Bagley – (Carolina All-Stars)
This 2019 is tough and physical. She did a little bit of everything from knocking down multiple threes, to running the point, to attacking the basket. She is athletic and can score the basketball. She is passionate and intense on the court.

2020 Lanae Stokes – (Boo Williams Deloatch)
A strong guard that can hit the three with ease. She has a strong frame and plays tough on both ends. As she continues to improve her ball handling going left, she will be a hard player to stop.

2023 Amiya Joyner – (Carolina Flames 16U EYBL)
She is a lengthy player that can work inside or out. She rebounds effectively and gets off the ground quick for put backs. As her ball handling continues to improve, she is going to be a nightmare match up because of her length and height.

2024 Elisa Harris – (Carolina Flames Moses)
She is a player with good size and that handles the ball well. She is also crafty around the rim and can get up and down in transition.

2021 Natalia Collier – (Team Loaded 2021 Scott)
She can go. A player that can do it all offensively whether it is running the show, passing to teammates or scoring herself. She can hit the three and has good elevation on her pull ups. She seems to always be in attack mode and plays with physicality.

2024 Joyce Edwards – (FEW360)
A player that is long and athletic. She runs the floor well in transition and is always around the ball. She finishes well around the rim and doesn’t shy away from contact. As her skills continue to develop, she will be on everyones watchlist.
